Built in 1918, RAF Henlow has been an important part of the aeronautical community for 104 years. With the imminent closure and removal of the site, now set to happen in 2023, there is no better time to look at the history of the site.
It can be hard for us to judge someone’s character when they lived in a time so different to ours, with a different set of societal rules and values. But taken out of her era and put into ours, would Anne have been viewed differently by modern standards and definitions? Would Anne Boleyn have been judged a ‘good’ person?
